Aluminium Sheet

In the trade, thin aluminium flat products are called “sheet” and thick ones “plate”. Light, corrosion-resistant and easy to form, aluminium sheet is the most widely used flat aluminium product. It offers high thermal and electrical conductivity, and its decorative surface gives cladding applications an attractive finish.

Thin sheets (1–10 mm) are mainly used in signage, automotive and machinery, while thick plates (10 mm and above) are used in machine building, mould making, shipbuilding and transport. For plate applications, 5xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx series alloys are preferred.

We stock stretched aluminium sheets in a wide range of sizes, alloys and tempers; non-standard sizes are prepared on our cut-to-length and guillotine lines.
