Anodising
Natural and coloured anodising of aluminium sheets and profiles; matt, satin or gloss finish.
Anodising is a special surface treatment for aluminium obtained through electrochemical processes. The resulting oxide layer is very hard and wear-resistant; in addition to its decorative look, corrosion resistance is ensured.
Worldwide, architectural profiles are usually extruded from 6xxx series alloys (6063, 6060) and anodised, clear or coloured, so that they keep their appearance for years. For sheets, alloys such as 1050, 5005, 5754 and 5083 are suitable.
