Welding

TIG/MIG welded fabrication and joining of aluminium and stainless steel.

Aluminium and its alloys can be joined by fusion welding, but require more material-specific care than steel. Filler metal and alloying are carefully selected to avoid hot cracking. Once the welding method, joint design and filler metal are defined correctly, aluminium is easy to weld.

Stainless and heat-resistant steels can, with some limitations, be joined using the fusion and pressure welding methods used for unalloyed steels. The filler metal is chosen with the same or a higher alloy content than the base metal, depending on the required corrosion and heat resistance.

Your benefits

  • Method and filler selected for the material
  • Clean, attractive weld seams
  • Cutting, bending and welding from one source

Materials

  • Aluminium
  • Stainless steel

Send us your drawing (DXF/DWG) or a dimensioned sketch and we will quote material and processing together.

With 24 welding lines, 4 of them laser welding, we achieve clean, distortion-free seams even on thin sheet.
