Stainless steel bars – solid round shafts – are produced in austenitic, ferritic and martensitic grades. High corrosion resistance and recyclability are their main advantages.
Grades
| 304 | The most widely used grade; cutlery such as forks, knives and spoons, and general machining. |

| 316 / 316Ti | Higher corrosion resistance; boat shafts and shafts in corrosive environments. Titanium-stabilised 316Ti is even more resistant. |
| 420 / 430F | High gloss after polishing; decorative applications and cutting tools. |
